OnePlus 9RT
The OnePlus 9RT is the successor to last year’s OnePlus 9R. The 9RT, like its predecessor, is primarily an Asian device, initially appearing in China and now in India.
The 9RT sits between the premium OnePlus devices, such as the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, and the more affordable Nord series. Nobody knows why OnePlus chose to launch these phones solely in Asia.
The 9RT is a minor advance over the 9R, which was largely identical to the 8T. The main differences between this model and the 9R are an improved Snapdragon 888 processor and a new triple camera setup on the rear. The display has been slightly increased in size, and the phone now charges slightly faster. The entire product is pretty similar to last year’s OnePlus 9.
While none of this is very fascinating, the OnePlus 9RT is a reasonably well-spaced smartphone for the price. It remains to be seen, though, if it will function successfully in practice. So, putting aside our experience with the technology and our preconceived views about it, we decided to give it a try.
